The Supervisory Committee
Is made up of volunteer, non-compensated members of the Credit Union. This committee has duties that include:
- Making or cause to be made an annual audit of the Credit Union
- Reporting the results of the annual audit to the Board of Directors and a summary of the report to the membership at the annual meeting
- Making or cause to be made any supplementary audits as it deems necessary or as may be ordered by the Board
- Report any practice of the credit union deemed by the Supervisory Committee to be unsafe or unauthorized
The Supervisory Committee acts as the “watchdog” over the Credit Union on behalf of the membership. Periodic audits are conducted by the Committee on behalf of the membership to insure accuracy and safety of the assets of the credit union.
